Women and Children Health Organization (WCHO) is a Christian National Non-governmental Organization that is women-led, Non-political and Non-profit. In order to promote an inclusive and just society where everyone including persons with disabilities have access to fair and high-quality services, WCHO believes in collaborating with women, children and youth. WCHO is a national organization that was registered with registration number 2728 in 2020 under the RRC ACT of 2016. In order to find better ways to address gender inequality and provide access to essential information and transformative services, WCHO works in partnership with important stakeholders and other partners. A group of professionals with a wide range of educational backgrounds and extensive work experience in leadership, management and program implementation in emergency, resilient and development contexts launched WCHO in April 2018.
Women and Children Health Organization place a high priority on child survival and stresses the need of access to preventive healthcare, nutrition, protection food security, livelihood and education in order to ensure children’s wellbeing. This comprehensive approach is crucial for saving and improving quality of life for children.
WCHO believes in working with women, children and youth to promote an inclusive and just society where everyone including persons with disabilities has access to equitable and quality services.
